ʿAlī Qaʾimī or Ali Qaemi (Persian: علی قائمی، b. 1937) earned his PhD in sociology from Sorbonne University, Paris. He has served as representative for both the first term of Iran's Assembly of Experts for Constitution and first term of Iran's Parliament. He has written scores of articles and books including: Zamine-ye Tarbiyat (background on upbringing), Tashkil-e Khanevadeh dar Islam (starting a family in Islam), Pasdari wa Sazandigi-ye Jame'e (building and safeguarding a community), Khanevade wa Tarbiayt-e Kudak (family and child upbringing), Kudak-e Musalman wa Nazm wa Tarbiyat (lit. Muslim child, discipline and upbringing), Naqsh-e Pidar dar Tarbiyat (lit. father's parental role in upbringing) and Nigahi be Mas'ala-ye Intizar (lit. a glimpse at the issue of waiting for Imam). Ali Qa'imi has also led courses at universities of Tarbiat Modares, Shahid Beheshti, Tarbiat Moalem, and Islamic Azad University.[1]
