Muhammad Fadil Lankarani
Ayatollah Muḥammad Fāḍil Lankarānī or Mohammad Fazel Lankarani (Persian:محمد فاضل لنکرانی, b. 1931 - d. 2007 in Qom, Iran) was among Shi'a Marja's and teacher for advanced levels in Seminary of Qom. He attended classes of grand scholars such as Muhammad Baqir Sultani Tabataba'i, Abd al-Jawad Jabal 'Amili, Murtada Ha'iri Yazdi and Sayyid Husayn Tabataba'i Burujirdi, Imam Khomeini, 'Allama Tabataba'i and Husayn Ali Muntazari. Later as a teacher at seminaries, he authored scores of books including: Kitab al-Ijtihad wa al-Taqlid, Kitab al-Sawm wa al-Zakat, Kitab al-Khums wa al-Anfal, Kitab al-Taharah wa al-Miyah, Kitab al-Ijarah, Chihriha-ye Dirakhshan dar Aya-ye Tathir, Humat al-Wahy, Ayin-e Kishwardari az Didgah-e Imam Ali (a), Pasdaran-e Wahy and al-Dawlat al-Islamiyyah.[1]
