Maʿārif wa ʿAqāʾid 5 (Persian: معارف و عقاید ۵) is the final textbook of a series of five volumes that discusses Shi'a theology, Shiism, beliefs, Q & A's and principles of religion. It is written by Abd al-Majid Zahadat and printed by Seminary of Qom Management Center Publications.[1]
About the Author
Hujjat al-Islam ʿAbd al-Majīd Zahādat or Abdol Majid Zahadat (Persian: عبدالمجید زهادت, b. 1963) is a graduate of hawza who has taken classes with great scholars such as Husayn Wahid Khurasani, Lutfullah Safi Gulpaygani, Sayyid Mahmud Shahrudi and Mustafa I'timadi Tabrizi. As a teacher in hawza, he has been supervisor, advisor and master reviewer on several thesis projects. Fellowship with International Center for Islamic Studies (Markaz-i Jahani Ulum-i Islami) and al-Mu'jam al-Fiqhi Center are noted among his latest activities. He has authored works, including: Ma'arif wa 'Aqa'id 5, Barrasi-ye Hadith-e Ma'rifat-e Imam az Manzar-e Fariqayn, Simay-e Payambar-e Akram dar Nahj al-Balaghah, 'Adalat-e Ijtima'i dar Nahj al-Balaghah, Ta'lim wa Tarbiyat dar Nahj al-Balagha (translated into Arabic as al-Ta'lim wa al-Tarbiya fi Nahj al-Balaghah).[2]
