Nishānihā-ye Qīyām-e Ḥaḍrat-e Mahdī (a) (Persian: نشانه‌های قیام حضرت مهدی) (lit. signs of Imam Mahdi's (a) uprising) is a book in Persian covering briefly the signs of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a) and the situation of man and the world before his reappearance. Book Overview

In the introduction of this book it has been mentioned: "a brief discussion about some of the signs of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a) and the situation of man and the world at the advent of his reappearance. It also covers some of the disadvantages of a discussion on the signs of reappearance. Moreover, the general condition prior to the Uprising of Imam Mahdi (a) has been mentioned like the appearance of sedition (fitnah), contagion of injustice and tyranny, insecurity and massacre, corruption and profligacy and increase in natural disasters. Amongst the signs of his reappearance, the celestial proclamation, uprising of Sufyani and the murder of Nafs al-Zakiyyah (the pure soul) have been mentioned. In order to overcome nonconforming convictions which are often heard in discussions on the signs of the reappearance, not knowing the specific time of Imam's (a) reappearance and the symbolic nature of these signs without engaging in associating personalities and phenomena is acknowledged.".
