Muhsin Qira'ati

Hujjat al-Islam Muḥsin Qirā'atī (Persian: محسن قرائتی, b. 1945 in Kashan, Iran) pursued his education in hawza by taking classes of scholars like Ali Aqa Najafi, Ja'far Saburi Kashani. He played an active role in the struggle of the Islamic Revolution. Head and Supreme leader's representative in Literacy Movement Organization are among his undertakings. Besides teaching at seminaries, he has written scores of books and articles including: Imamat, Jahatnama, Ba Qur'an dar Sarzamin-e Wahy, Ghadir dar Qur'an, Qur'an wa Imam Husayn, Barrasi-ye Naqsh wa Wazifa-ye Nahadha-ye Dini dar Tarwij-e Nizam-e Tarbiyati-e Intizar Mihwar, Partuwi az Ayaha-ye Mahdawi, Amr-e bi Ma'ruf wa Nahy az Munkar and Yiksad-o-Panjah Mawdu' az Qur'an wa Ahadith.[1]
