Andīsha-ye Mahdawīyyat wa Āsībhā (Persian: اندیشه مهدویت و آسیب‌ها, lit. the idea of Mahdism and its manipulations) is a book in Persian that focuses on misrepresentations of Mahdism before the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a) and suggests methods to thwart them. It is written by Muhammad Sabir Ja'fari and printed by Cultural Foundation of Hadrat Mahdi Maw'ud Publications.[1]

Book Overview

This work, as stated by its author, reviews deliberate falsifications- which would be widely disseminated before the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a)- their origins and remedies to fail them. Commonly reported falsifications include: misleading judgments passed on the issue of awaiting for the Imam Mahdi (a), excess and negligence that frequently appear while interpreting Imam Mahdi's (s) perceived affection or anger, throwing unfruitful discussions, fixing dates for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a), applying excessive and negligent interpretations regarding the occultation, false prophets, appointing special deputyship and general deputyship, ceasing to observe the path of Wilayah al-Faqih and general deputies.[2]

Muhammad Sabir Ja'fari

Hujjat al-Islam Muḥammad Ṣābir Ja'farī or Mohammad Saber Ja'fari (Persian: محمد صابر جعفری, b. 1972, Qom)[3] a member of editorial board in Mashriq-e Maw'ud Quarterly and research deputy of Markaz-e Takhassusi-ye Mahdawiyyat are among his undertakings. Later as a teacher in seminary and university, he wrote scores of books and articles including: Andisha-ye Mahdawiyyat wa Asibha, Kitab-e Gharb wa Mahdawiyyat and Maqala-ye Gharb wa Mahdawiyyat, Mahdi Sitizan, Darurat-e Tarh-e Mabahith-e Mahdawiyyat, Mahdi Inkari, Intizar Sitizi, Mahdawiyyat wa Pursishha-ye Rubiru, Susti wa Mas'uliyyat Gurizi Chalishi dar 'Asr-e Ghaybat, Darbara-ye Wazha-ye Mahdawiyyat and Intizar-e Faraj.[4]
