Āmūzihā-ye Mahdawīyyat dar Āthār-e ʿAllāmah Ṭabāṭabā'ī (Persian: آموزههای مهدویت در آثار علامه طباطبائی, lit. 'Allama Tabataba'i’s teachings on Mahdism) is a book in Persian that discusses 'Allama Tabataba'i’s expressed views on Mahdism. It is compiled by Ali Rida Imami Maybudi and printed by Tawhid Publications.[1]
Introduction to the book
This work is a compilation of 'Allama Tabataba'i’s teachings on Mahdism including: occultation, Zuhur (the reappearance), Intizar (awaiting), proof on Imam Mahdi’s (a) existence, the prolonged lifespan of Imam Mahdi (a) and his occultation.
The author begins by offering frequently cited evidences for Imam Mahdi’s (a) existence as suggested by logical and narrative approaches. Later, the philosophy of his occultation, stated uncertainties, Shi'a's reported obligations and intellectual basis for establishing government during the occulation are clarified. The author then proceeds to the ideas of 'Allama Tabataba'i regarding the inevitability of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a) by speaking of his referenced verses of the Qur’an and stated logical reasons. The author finalizes his work by presenting 'Allama Tabataba'i’s ideas on the signs of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a), the rise of Imam Mahdi (a), exclusive aspects of Imam Mahdi’s (a) governing, Raj'a and other related statements made by 'Allama Tabataba'i’.[2]
About the Author
Hujjat al-Islam ʿAlī Riḍā Imāmī Maybudī or Ali Reza Emami Meybodi (Persian: علی رضا امامی میبدی, b. 1980) pursued his education in hawza by taking classes of great scholars like Sayyid Mahmud Shahrudi and Mahdi Shab Zindadar. Membership in scholarly groups of Rah-e Rawshan Institute and manager of Women Affairs and Rights group of website of Porseman affiliated with Supreme leader's representative office in universities are among his accomplishments. Besides teaching in hawza and university, he has authored one book and several articles including: Amuziha-ye Mahdawiyyat dar Athar-e 'Allamah Tabataba'i, Rawish Shinasi-ye Sayyid Murtada dar 'Ilm-e Kalam and Barrasi wa Naqd-e Taqrirha-ye Burhan-e Harkat.[3]\n== References ==
