Hujjat al-Islam '''[[Abbas Rahimi|ʿAbbās Rahīmī]]''' (Persian: عباس رحیمی, b. 1947, Isfahan, Iran) is a graduate of [[hawza]] who has taken classes with great scholars such as [[Imam Khomeini]], [[Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei]], [[Sayyid Mahmud Shahrudi]] and [[Sayyid Muhammad Rida Gulpaygani]], and [[Nasir Makarim Shirazi]]. He was former leader of [[Friday Prayer]] of the two cities of Khomeyni Shahr and Mobarakeh. He played an active and earnest role in the struggles against the deposed Shah of Iran.
